How does the entertainment determine pricing?
With most talent, bands, magicians, comedians, etc, pricing is based on demand (and travel).
Days of the week can determine demand. Saturdays are typically in the highest demand. Next comes Fridays. After that, Sundays, then weekdays.
Every month also has a different demand. Holidays, high priority for event planners. So don’t procrastinate! Plan ahead!
Another factor is the amount of branding you may want incorporated into your entertainment. Other needs? Will you want them to serve as MC? Create special scripts? Learn a special song?
Pricing will also be dependent on your sound needs. If the talent needs to bring in their own sound, there can be additional costs.
